Notes - OBITUARY
MRS. SARAH PAUL BONSON
Sarah Bonson, nee Paul, was born in London, England, September 17, 1850. She was the daughter of the late George and Betsy Paul. She came to America with her parents when three years of age, locating at Platteville, Wisconsin, since which time she has lived in and near this city.
Being of a devout Christian parentage she united with the church when a very young girl. She transferred her membership to the Congregational Church of Platteville when she moved into town October 1, 1882, and was a member in good standing at the time of her death.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Bonson December 5th, 1898. Her final sickness apparently began when she was removed to the hospital about a week before she died. She had been troubled with rheumatism for some time but took a turn for the worse Monday, May 4th. All that could be of any help was done. She fell asleep Tuesday afternoon, May 12th, 1925. She leaves to mourn the loss, her devoted husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ella Knebel of Chicago and Mrs. Fannie Loveland of Warren, Ill., and one son ir. John Bonson of Spring Green, Wis., and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hannah E. Paul of Markasan, Wis., and Mrs. Hannah G. Paul of Odebolt, Iowa, besides a number of nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends The funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon, May 15, and the burial was in the family lot at Greenwood cemetery.
