Thomas Earl Scanlan Cottonwood resident Thomas Scanlan died June 17. He was born Oct. 12, 1943 in Odebolt, Iowa. Mr. Scanlan was 56 years old. He was a project manager for Arizona Public Service Company where he was employed for 28 years. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Carol Kay Scanlan; two daughters, Geri Ann Rocha and Cindy Kay Wakefield of Cottonwood; two sons-in-law, Rick Rocha and Daniel Wakefield; a son, Chris Scanlan of Lake Havasu; eight grandchildren, Beth, Lyn and Christopher Scanlan, Tyler Buddy and Tanner Wakefield, and Michael and Matthew Rocha. A memorial mass is scheduled June 23 at Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Father Bud Pelletier will officiate the service.
