On March 16, 2009, John married Janice Koenen. The couple made their home in Odebolt, IA, where John was engaged in farming. John and Janice enjoyed hopping in their car and going for joy rides in their free time. Left to cherish John&rsquo;s memory include his wife Janice Koenen; daughters Kelly Hosenfelt and Jodi Schroeder; grandchildren; brothers Pat, Jim, and Bob; sisters Patsy and Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom</p>
