TEMPLETON - Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, J u l y 18, a t Sacred Heart Church in Templeton for John I. Schultes, 69, of Tem pleton, who died Thursday, J u l y 16, at Manning General Hospital. Concelebrants for t h e Mass will be the Revs. Lawrence Burns, Thomas Munn and Eugene Walding. Mass servers will be Tom a n d Matt Schultes. Cross bearer will be Doug Bauer. Lectors will be Kim Vonnahme and Lisa Schultes. Gift bearers will be Anne Schultes, Donna Vonnahme, and Mary Kay Schultes. The Sacred Heart Choir will provide music. Burial, under the direction of Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, will be a t Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton. Casket bearers will be Mike Bruch, Brian Bruch, Randy Bruch, Bill Vonnahme, Bill Schultes and Dick Schultes. Rosary will be recited at 3 and 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. A scriptural prayer service will be held at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Schultes Is survived by h is wife, Loretta, of Templeton; three sons, Leroy Schultes of Templeton, Larry Schultes and his wife, Pat, of Manning, and Marvin Schultes and his wife, Dee, of Hastings, Neb.; two daughters, Lois and her husband, Bob Bruch, of Audubon, and Marilyn and her husband, Dennis Vonnahme, of Breda; 15 grandchildren; a brother, Carl Schultes, !and his wife, Regina, of Dedham; a sister, Zita and her husband, Leo Renze, of Carroll; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Schultes of Dedham; and an uncle, Carl Welti of Templeton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, William ! Schultes, formerly of Dedham. Mr. Schultes was born on March 22, 1918, in Dedham, a son of J o hn J. and Katherine (Welti) Schultes} He attended school in Dedham. . On Oct. 14, 1940, he was mar-t ried to Loretta A. Renze at Holy Angels Church in Roselle. They fanned southeast of Templeton until 1979 when they moved to town. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Templeton and t he Templeton Senior Citizens Club.
