Blackman was born September 6, 1970, at Denison, Iowa, the son of Barry W. and Marie Blackman. He was united in marriage to Becky Bretey on December 1, 1990. They celebrated 26 years of marriage, but if he told you how many years it was always a higher number. He served his country in the National Guard. Tony was employed in the meat department at No Frills Supermarket in Denison for three years and then began his 25-year employment at Farmland where he worked production, Quality Assurance, and then as a supervisor. He also enjoyed attending car shows, driving his dad’s ‘55 Chevy, or just cruising around in his ’77 Monte Carlo. He was a collector of shot glasses and Harley Davidson shirts. American Pickers, Counts Customs, Top Gear, Fast and Loud, classic westerns and action movies were his favorite television shows. Survivors include: his wife, Becky of Early, Iowa; one son, Jake and his wife, Kristina and expected granddaughter of Schleswig, Iowa; one daughter, Megan and boyfriend, Bret of Sac City, Iowa; his mother, Marie of Denison, Iowa ; two brothers: Travis and his wife, Amy of Westside, Iowa and Tyson of Ida Grove, Iowa; one sister, Tiffany of Vail, Iowa; mother-in-law, Tudy of Denison; brothers-in-law: Clayton and his wife, Laurie of Exira, Iowa; Kurt and his wife, Shelly of Palestine, Texas; Keith and his wife, Teri of LeMars, Iowa; Tony and his wife, Nicole of Blair, Nebraska; one sister-in-law, Paulette and her husband, Todd of Ashton, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews</span></p>
