    • <p>[a29517.ged]</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Served in the War of 1812</p><p>lived partly in Rockland Lake, but mostly in NY City</p><p>Died at son Peter's home in Keyport, NJ</p><p>Served in the War of 1812 in the 2nd regiment of New York State Militia under Captain William M. Dyckman Jr. Commanded by Lt. Colonel Jasper Ward in September1, 1816 for 3 months. October 20, 1858 he received 120 acres of land in Rockland County New York, for his bounty.</p><p>Though a part of Isaac's life was passed at Rockland Lake, the greater part was spent in New York City where he worked asa carman.</p>He died at the home of his son, Peter, at Keyport, New Jersey.
