- <p><span style="caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;">Paul Koster, 55, of Winterset, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2020 at MercyOne Hospice in Johnston. </span><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><span style="caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;">Paul was born August 8, 1965, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Urban “Barney” and Pat (Scanlan) Koster. He served 32 years in the Air Force with 30 years in Air National Guard. He was deployed several times overseas during those 30 years. </span><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;" /><span style="caret-color: #444444; color: #444444; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;">Paul married Julia Myers in 1993.
